The point I'm trying to make is they could've invited Fournette, even if he wasn't going to win it, as recognition for the great season he had. I'll even give you an example. In 2010 when Cam Newton won the Heisman and everyone and their momma KNEW he was winning it, four people were invited to NYC
Cam Newton - Auburn
Andrew Luck - Stanford
LaMichael James - Oregon
Kellen Moore - Boise State
Now did any rational person think for one second that Kellen Moore was walking out of there with the Heisman trophy? Of course not. I would've liked to see Leonard at least get an invite to the ceremony as recognition of what he accomplished (in less games) than the rest of his counterparts.
