re: Thoughts on this rifle for child?

I spent the extra money and got my son a remington Model seven youth then when he outgrew the stock I bought an adult size stock for his gun. Several companies make bolt action models that are available in both adult and youth models where you could do the same. A 7mm-08 is a caliber he'd never outgrow.
