re: Beans in 5 gallon pot

Pretty windy up in this bean thread.

I can cook a 2 lb camellia white or red in my 7.25 quart LeCrueset and it is FULL. That may have say 3 links of sausage.

So I'm still saying 5 pounds. Not only do beans expand and you have volume in meat but no one seems to realize you have volume of liquid as well. 6 pounds and you will be at the brim and stirring hot arse white beans all over your no wax floor.
