Les likes to take a dual threat guy and turn them into a pocket guy so they can have that extra threat to run. It's a good idea in theory but the execution of it is flawed.

Duel Threat guys rarely develop into SEC Championship QB's. Les disagrees.

Cam, Tebow, and Nick Marshall were all dual threat qb's. I get it different offensive systems but they did win championships. If Les wouldn't have to play guys as true freshman and true sophomores, which is Les's fault as well, it could possibly help too

2014 - Blake Sims, recruited as an "athlete"
2013 - Nick Marshall, "athlete"
2012 - AJ McCarron, pro-style
2011 - JJ/Lee
2010 - Cam Newton, dual-threat
2009 - McElroy, pro-style
2008 - Tim Tebow, dual-threat
2007 - Matt Flynn, pro-style w/Ryan Perrilloux dual-threat winning SEC MVP

seems kinda balanced to me

Dual-threat guys who try and get forced into a pro-style offense rarely develop into championship QBs
