I'm in market as well. Looking at a gun for hogs and predators in open fields and eventually deer. I'm leaning 25-06, looking at Kimber and Tikka

Ballistics wise, the 6mm Remington was not for off and the gun came in that caliber. Wise choice, great for deer/hog size game out to 250 yards or so. Never lost one and Ive shot quite a few.
