For starters, that almost never happens immediately, and secondly, Jimbo doesn't have to get a raise from FSU to demand an unreasonable amount from LSU just to see if they bite. It's a win-win for him either way.

Wrong! The announcement happens very quickly, especially when other jobs are floating around. Look how quickly we announced Miles raise/extension after the Arkansaa debacle.
