I wouldn't care if Alleva lied and then fired Miles.
Not sure what else you are asking. I would be fine with that.
I think Alleva should have came out no matter what and said Les was going to be the coach.. even if lying.. and the media would have went away.

This.
All the "lie" talk is stupid. I never blamed Saban for denying the rumors about Alabama while still coaching Miami. Of course you keep negotiations behind closed doors and put on a business as usual face to the media and public.
That's how this works. It's how Georgia handled it and without question how we should have.
They killed their own deal by being completely incompetent. And people say Miles is stubborn. Alleva's handling of this mess was suicidal.
