sure they are. But it is not a mutually exclusive position that they also get better with game experience. practice and working in the system is great, but it takes real game experience to get used to the speed of the game in college. esp. the SEC.

that's why I agree that it's more unrealistic to use young qb's in other conferences having success to measure up against the SEC. defenses are faster and bigger in the SEC.

People are not morons to suggest that our qb's need more real game passing experience to get better.

imo, we need to work esp. on bread and butter passing plays - screens, slants, curls, back shoulder throws early in the year, to find some throws he can get good at to get us 5-10 yards when we need it. that's my beef with this staff. we don't do that.
