I heard a story the other day about a guy who bought some furniture made by the inmates at Angola. He picked out the items he wanted and told them to take them out to the F-150 with the trailer behind it. The inmate who was going to take the stuff out to the truck told the buyer "hell man, I've been in here since 1971 - I don't know what an F-150 is".

that's kind of interesting. almost like waking up from a coma 44 yrs later. i like how he said , he did the crime and he did the time and society didn't owe him anything.

It's crazy how everything changes so fast and at least half of his time on the inside was before the tech/Internet explosion so things advance even faster.

It's wild to think how different the world will be in another 40 years. But Skippy will still be around.
