And I don't understand why people bitch about "double standards." Do you know why there are different standards for the way society treats men and women--It's because they are different! Socially, biologically, functionally--We need different standards because we are not the same. Sometimes that works in their favor and sometimes it doesn't.
We look at a man sleeping with a young girl differently from an older woman sleeping with a teenage boy because they ARE different. Whether that has to do with cultural/social norms, conditioning, reactions, consequences, etc.--it doesn't matter. Differences exist and the only reason to argue otherwise is to serve some nonsense argumentative position in a larger societal debate about the sexes.
