Making the NIT should not be looked at as some kind of accomplishment for this team. It should be looked at as a complete disappointment. There is still a lot basketball left to be played, but if this season goes south then what logical basis would there be for keeping Jones? If he can't do anything with maybe the most talented team he will ever have at LSU, then what makes you think he will ever be able to accomplish anything of note? As far as I can tell, there are no more huge recruits out there for him to fall arse-backwards into. He's already failed to make the NCAAT once with a frontcourt of 3 NBA players (O'Bryant, Mickey, Martin)

Go back to when Jones was hired. Very few people on here were excited about the hire and almost all were concerned about his coaching ability. Three years later the same concerns are there. This is "next year" for LSU. If he is a championship level coach, then now is the time to prove it!

I currently have them as a #12 seed in the NIT. Thats if all goes well. Upvote the JJ is horrible by the previous poster. Watch out because admins will run you for having an opinion on this current basketball coach.
