1) our of sync recruiting (position wise). it seems every year we are loaded at some positions and thin as hell at others. maybe this is a talent evaluation issue as well; TE's for example. we sign a ton of them and all of a sudden one goes down and we can't run the ball. we are losing 2 or 3 OL and it seems we only have a coupla commitments there. we wait until this class to sign LB'ers? it's like we didn't know last year or the year before we'd need LB'ers to play the game?
2) every year we have a young team. ok, we lose some juniors to the draft but so does everyone else. I think we are always young because we wait for the cupboard to be bare before we sign some guys. next year, our OL may contain 2 soph.s and 3 first year players and our lb's will be pretty much all underclassment. make no mistake, 2016 we will, once again be A YOUNG TEAM.
3) in game management. we just don't even try to develop a passing game early in the season when we are playing weaker teams. we also don't break in back up qb's in these games. lastly, when LSU takes the lead, I know we're gonna lose it because our O goes in the tank with a lead.

I really think our "scheme" is fine even tho our execution of it stinks. our failure to recruit enough guys in the trenches and lb's every year is really hurting us.

As far as Less is concerned there is nothing wrong with his offense. It's the players failure to execute that is the problem. You have to realize that you have a problem before you can begin to address it. This is the reason that Less won't change.

Wow!
From u Grandad? Youre better than this.

1. We arent Bama Texas, USCw, or Ohio State my friend. Now we're taking shots at Miles' recruiting prowess.News flash:
Louisiana although a very talented state doesnt produce enough talent that will go to LSU and fit the scheme every year. Where are the QB's OL DL? Especvially QB's Miles loses to teams that have superior QB play. Im sure any coach can beat an equal when they are totally outclassed at Q@B. Somebody reads something about La. has the most NFL talent "per capita" and now everyone thinks little Louisiana should dominate the entire college football world each and every year.

2. I dont hear many coming to Miles defense with this. Thats life in college football. 11 years and counting should show he's handled this pretty well.

3."when LSU takes the lead, I know we're gonna lose it because our O goes in the tank with a lead."
Seriously, come on man.

Wasn't it like a year or two ago when we set the record for the most juniors to leave early with 10 or something like that.

Now we are blaming Miles recruiting?!? This is getting a bit ridiculous.

We only have 3 offensive lineman in the NFL right now.

Pretty telling stat.

Having to watch LSU get absolutely skullfricked on national TV for three consecutive games during a month in which the games and opponents matter.

For the third game ... it was well known that his seat was hot (supposedly) ... he proclaimed the team "ready" ... and then LSU got destroyed.

He's a big boy in a big boy business. Mark Richt was held accountable. Poor Mr. Sympathy was not. Instead, he somehow managed to get carried off the damn field after a lackluster win over a team with no pulse.

And ... now ... it's like none of it ever happened or mattered.

It's like Bama's loss to Ole Miss or Keyser fricken Soze ... POOF! VANISHED! Never happened.

Tes, 3 Of them were hurt at times this year. And Moreau really was one of the last takes for missing out on others. And that happens at every school.

The oline recruiting looks strong under Grimes. I have no issue rt now. And if some of the jrs don't leave, then LSU will trot out a line next year with players that have started and won't need to put true frosh on the line.

I already rebutted the early season passing as it pertains to this season and the fact you lose a game and open up against a division opponent that worked you last year. So the first "shitty" team you play was in week 4. In that game the wrs blew it. How can you work on the passing in a game away from home if the wrs drop easy passes? You can't, so you run the ball.

Your number 1) was spot on! All these TEs and we lose a full back and TE and have no one ready to step up.

I agree with some of this but we have had a ton of attrition with the draft and transfers. We lost Melvin jones due to grades 1 or 2 linebackers to transfers. We lost out on multiple QBs. Stud was a huge recruiting problem for lineman as was brick and Chavis. Recruiting will be fixed with the addition of Steele and O. I agree with the game management part. Some of the problems 10 years ago are still problems in game management

4) He does NOT game plan. No strategy. He never says, "Guys, Mississippi State couldn't defend a pass even if the receivers were blind, so we're going to throw it 55 times Saturday to exploit this glaring weakness."
No, we run like we always have and pray they miss a field goal at the end.
