I like the idea of a more modern version of the Luthor character (e.g. a young genius Santa Clara IT business empire jerk), and even like the lack of his physical presence as Kent and Wayne are already brooding enough. However, Eisenberg just comes off as horribly annoying and unappealing to all my senses. 
Maybe that is by design, and its hard to tell without watching the movie. Patience.

As I said earlier, why can't the modern iteration be more Elon Musk and less Facebook/Google ceo?
And we still haven't seen bald Eisenberg. Could long hair Lex be an early act 1 misdirection?

I believe he'll play the flamboyant hipster in public, but will really turn out to be a ruthless psychopath. That's what I'm hoping, at least.
