I'm also not crazy on Doomsday's look, and using him this early in a movie, but hopefully he evolves/transforms as he fights Superman/the trio and ultimately looks more like this:
Right now he looks like one of the trolls from the Hobbit after juicing up and hitting the gym.

IMO, that's a dream sequence. Go to page 1 of this thread and you'll a picture of "knigthmare" Batman that's being sold.
