what was seen and heard last night was a stadium full of love and appreciation for their beloved, zany, very human (thus imperfect) head coach. And overwhelming support in the form of signs, cheers and a standing ovation for him and his family before things even got rolling.

It's difficult to tolerate this disingenuous position. Most of the fans were just expressing appreciation for past accomplishements, not demanding his retention. We thought it was his last game.

I was there. I cheered. But nonetheless I feel it's in the best interests of the program to move on. At least if championships are the aim. There were countless others like me in attendance. You can't honestly interpret the cheering as some referendum on retaining Miles. That should be obvious.

It's not obvious to them just as consistently 3rd to 5th in the SEC West isn't obvious to them.
