I remember the 90s, and Louisiana politicians ruined LSU football. Mark Emmert changed that in 1999.

McKeithen strongly opposed hiring Arnsparger and firing Stovall. Liked things just the way they were.
Then there was Cusimanno and his crew opposing Saban and Emmerch on making the facilities and other aspects of the football program better.
