The same media, especially ESPN that has been blasting Les continuously since the Alabama fiasco is now making villains out of LSU followers for even thinking that he should be let go now that it has been determined that it will happen. In three days Les has risen from "At best a mediocre coach" to now " One of the all time greatest"

Pretty much.

Miles is a quirky, unpredictable coach. LSU was 'must watch' football during the "Lesticles" era. (05-08)

The era of The Hat, the trick plays and the Tigers being fun to watch ended a long time ago. This has been a painfully conservative team that is slogging through a malaise for years, now.

You are SO right! How many people here have watched our offense year in and year out be crippled and incapable of pulling their weight on the team? How many people here are sick and tired of watching garbage QB play? This is callous, but it's a white elephant in the room that needs to be dealt with, and dealt with quickly. Can you imagine the reaction if we allowed our current staff to run our program into ground similar to what happened at Texas? Bottom line, we will never make anyone happy. Pending the outcome of a solid hire, this (to me) shows our school's commitment to excellence in our football program. This is a business at the end of the day.
