The right thing would have been to buy the person's food behind you. Then, ask for the food you paid for, and thrown it out of your window when driving off.

I don't understand these things. Usually it's at starbucks. You aren't paying it forward and helping needy people if they can spend 7 bucks on a latte. Give to someone who really needs it.
