I overshot the temp on my turkey by about 10 degrees. 12 pound turkey was 170(breast) after 33 minutes in a 315 degree fryer. WTF

Yeah, my cousin is talking to me now. He thinks it's funny after we had a few beers. His dad seems like he's salty about it. Don't think I won't beat his dad's arse too. Promise you my cousin knows that. We are all sitting out back by the fire pit smashing cold brews.

I free balled as well today....
Side note/unrelated to original thread...
Back in college I free balled one day and zipped some skin on the top of my pecker (the head). The pain was horrible as I stood at the urinal. I looked around panicking because I didn't want anybody to walk in on this, so I quickly and painfully made my way to a stall.
Once I got inside I knew I had a decision to make. As I stood there clamy and slightly nauseous in pain facing my predicament I knew there was only one option. I quickly pulled down my zipper all the way taking two pieces of dick meat right off. The holes weren't bad enough to go to the ER, but bad enough that I knew they would be hurting for awhile.
I dreaded the thought of a Something about Mary moment, but luckily it wasn't that bad. I went back to class and told a couple people why I was twisting in discomfort the whole time. It hurt when I sweat for a couple days...the point is when free balling be extra careful when zipping.

My husband has had Thanksgiving lunch and supper with low carb sides and no pie. He's panicking. He's also had to carve the turkey at my Parents house with a knife so dull it was like a butter knife

I win. I actually almost burned my house down. Smoker caught fire and spread to my two 96 gallon garbage cans and melted them. In my own stupidity, I had the cans about 3ft behind and on the side as a wind shield.
