We did too. And got friends to get 6 more for their kids. Very good deal. Legit Fire with cameras and SD slot.
The kidless fricks are here to piss on it as usual but with 4 kids I hopped on it. The Kindle is also appealing because it's simple for kids to use. These are too good to pass up.

I've got no kids and I grabbed one. Will probably use it for movies/tv shows when I go places. Tons of movies on prime. I don't really need one, but at $35 I got one anyway.
