Students at the College of William & Mary want Thomas Jefferson’s status removed from campus because they call him an “incestuous rapist” and a “racist.”
The Jefferson statue there is now covered in yellow notes that say things including: “he knew it was wrong,” “racist” “rapist,” “black lives matter,” and ” stop worshiping racists.”
The College of William & Mary, Jefferson’s alma mater, is one of many schools in America where student activists are debating the legacy of the Founding Fathers and demanding the removal of anything that commemorates them.

I wouldn't worry too much about this one.

Just say ok, well do it.
Then just never get around to it.
Like a little a shiteater dog, sooner or later these people will get tired and stfu.

I love how this is happening at some of the best universities that we have (Mizzou not one of them obviously).
Shows just how stupid and petulant our "best and brightest" really are.

If you don't like the country he helped mold then you are welcome to relocate.

All this shite reminds me of what is going on over on the Rant with Les Miles and people demanding him to be fired.
Just a case of the most delusional and upset people being the loudest

do they have planned prayer sessions daily in the direction of the statue? I didn't realize a hunk of granite somewhere meant people were worshipping it.
Also, is it Jefferson or some other early president that was a known fornicator with black women? If it is Jefferson, doesn't that kinda mean he's like the opposite of racist?

But I thought TJ loved the blacks.

Trying to remove history. Irony is it took a white guy to abolish slavery, blacks didn't do it for themselves.

Well if that's the case, maybe we should give the Louisiana territory back to France...

Might as well close UVA too while we're at it.

Thomas Jefferson is a big reason these ingrates and cretins have a country that allow such protests in the first place.
Take down Stonewall Jackson... there is nothing redeeming about his defining participation in the American journey... leave Thomas Jefferson the frick alone.

This trend of judging people from past times using the morals of today is troubling.
Should we judge people of past eras for moral failings
"It may well be that the young or middle aged people of today will, in future decades, look back at views they once held and feel horrified and ashamed. And just as we judge Kant's century, and identify its moral defects, so it is inevitable that the people of the 23rd Century will detect flaws in ours, the 21st."
