The shitshow started when Alleva leaked info then backed it up with a "No comment" publically, allowing the power brokers to leak additional info to an eager media.
This all could have been handled privately via agents on the same timeline, then after (or even before) the A&M game they could have negotiated Les's exit and announced the new coach after the new coach's last game. Sure, there would have been rumors, but it wouldn't be this bad without Alleva getting the ball rolling.

wtf? are you saying LSU should have notified Miles agt that we have the money to buy him out? and what the hell do you think his response would be? and how do you know he didn't leak shite to the media?
