Wife wants a robot vac.... but does she need the mop instead?

Okay wife wants one off those robotic vacs. I have looked at roomba and neato. But here is the thing, i ran across roomba braava 380 mop that uses those pads to clean hard floors. I wonder if this would work better? Anyone with experience please help! Here is my situation.
-All our floors are laminate wood floors
-no pets
-no carpet
-floors stay pretty clean, only the occasional dirt from shoes or dust bunny here and there
Would the braava be better for us? Are they a good product?

We have a Roomba 760. It's used on our first floor which is all tile and laminate. It does a great job of keeping minor dirt off the floor. Your floors will still need to be mopped.
If you get the mop version, you will still have to sweep.

I can't see how the mop could possibly carry enough water to effectively mop....

I had a neato xv-21 and it died after about 18-months, but I had the 3-year replacement warranty and they just gave me my full purchase price back. I'm getting a neato botvac D80 with the credit as a replacement. The design flaws in the xv-21 have been corrected in the botvac series. I'm also getting the irobot scooba for my kitchen and dining area to mop every couple of days after the neato runs. The mop your are talking about just pushes a wet rag around I think, the scooba actually mops.
Best advice I can give you is buy the longest warranty you can for it.
