... Have to be given a contract extension for program to have any credibility moving forward. The only way he could hire replacement coaches is to prove he is secure in his own job. The damage has been done beyond repair at this point and he must be let go of contract extension is not an option.

If miles will be retained Alleva would have made a public statement by now dismissing all these rumors.

Good point, this administration has let this get so out of hand. Even if we win sat, there is no confidence in miles anymore.

well, as of today he's sill the coach at LSU, as of today, Joe Alleva has yet to comment on the status of the head coaching position at LSU, so it's all speculation. either way, les isn't getting a contract extension.

Yes to keep him you have to redo his deal with an absurd buyout for AT LEAST 3 years.

That's why he won't be retained.

He won't be.

We have already gone through 4 OC's in his tenure.

With the leak the damage is done.

Its just time to move on.

Will always be grateful for his time here.

Why do people keep saying this? Maybe I'm unaware, but as far as I know not a single credible LSU official has commented on Miles' job status.

This has all been concocted by 1 or 2 supposed "boosters", a bunch of anonymous message board posters, and the soap opera that ESPN has become.

There is no chance he is retained. Alleva and Miles are past the point of no return.

No

He's got multiple years left on his contract. You are wrong.

I agree that the damage has been done. The only thing that fixes that is success next year. Until then, the questions will linger. Of course, that only matters with respect to the 2016 recruiting class.
