Either you don't know what the gambler's fallacy is, or you're not referencing anything said in the OP.

The gambler's fallacy would imply that LSU's chances of hiring a top coach are increased due to the rarity with which that usually happens. The same idea that 20 straight heads leads people to think that chance for a tails increases on the next flip.

I'm using history to point out how difficult it is to find a successful replacement for successful coaches.
