He played at Stanford under Bill Walsh, after Walsh coached numerous Super Bowl teams with the 49ers. He has studied under the best West Coast mind.

He transferred to Nebraska and knows all about pounding the ball and the importance of dominating the trenches. He learned under Tom Osbourne.

Played in the Pros as a DB and Special Teamer in addition to his QB play. Guy has played all over the field at the highest level.

Has been with Oregon since 2009 and was influential in developing Heisman QB Marcus Mariotta. Guy knows everything from dominate triple option, west coast and spread attack.

This is the guy LSU needs.

LSU isn't for first time HCs. Last time a guy was a first time HC at a top 15 program? Will fricking muschamp at Florida. Tell me how that went. And everyone was sure he was a guaranteed great HC when he was HCIW at Texas. Didn't go as planned at Florida

From the look of that pic, between him and coach O we could say our coaches can beat up your coaches.

Not going to be the head coach. He could possibly be involved for OC search.

LSU isn't the place to learn how to be a head coach. Frost or any other candidate needs to go to a lower- or mid-level program for at least a year or two first.

The last time LSU hired a first-time head coach was when Mike Archer was hired in 1987. He last four years and was run out after two losing seasons. And what he left behind set the stage for Curley Hallman (a trainwreck of his own) to be gone four years after that.

Unless Frost is coming to run an offense, no thanks.

What's even better is, we won't pay him 4mil a year for mediocrity every single year.

If he sucks and we got 8-5, cool... better than what we got now!
