Smith and Wesson Shield. If you don't trust the gun that has no hammer and safety, don't carry. If you don't trust it, why would you carry?. A well made gun will not go off unless you pull the trigger. Holster it and you are set. That said, the Sig is nice. But do not carry if you can't trust a gun simply because it has no safety.

There's no reason to not get a gun with a safety if that's what you want.

I guess I communicated it wrong. I just like the hammer because with it cocked it's going to shoot better than a glock style trigger. If it's de-cocked than its not going to shoot and you can be sure of that.
