Exhibit A that the tide has truly turned. Even after Miles past gaffes, the media would still toss him softballs.

Well he's probably standing with the Mizzou protesters. They were salty because the media stopped paying attention to them because of the Paris stuff.

One of the last questions was about fans stopping and giving him words of encouragement in the past and if anyone had done it this week. "No, just my family"

That reporter knew damn well no one is stopping to tell him to "keep up the good work"

Miles was indeed correct that he didn't say we 'were weeks away on offense'...at least not anywhere I could find. I guess it's a positive.

Also, why the frick does anyone need to talk to him about carrying out the French Flag?!?! Does this dude live under a rock?!?! I actually thought it was awesome when I saw it pregame....then I hear this & lose what little respect I have for that man!

this is all really sad to me. it's like he's broken somehow in an irretrievable marriage as our coach. oh well, we're all fightin tigahs till the end.

So reporters sometimes just make things up or misconstrue things? Sounds kinda like the Rant.

I had an Ohhhhhh Shiiiiiite moment when I heard that question! I was sure that would have been a HOT topic before now if he did say something like that. Still not happy with him but that would of been like a fart in church

How can one not respect him as a person. Say what you want about his coaching but les is a great human being.

Guess I should have clarified.....respect as a head coach. I don't know him as a person, but I know if you had to even think about whether or not it was a good idea to let your players bringing out the French Flag...come on man! That is something that the head coaches/AD's normally do to show support/unity for a cause...not something that your players have to talk you in to.

The players likely took the idea from seeing Army do it. Hopefully the head coach is occupied on game day and not seeing some shite on the internet about an Army football game.

pretty sure the Paris tragedies didn't happen right before kick-off. There was stuff all over different cities, countries, events, games, etc. paying tribute & showing support for Paris against the terrorist attacks.

So you're telling me a tragedy on that scale happens & the coaches are too busy to take 5 minutes to turn on the radio, tv, computer, social media to even see what happened?!?! ON FRIDAY?!?!

intentionally stupid? MILES is the one that said he had to be talked into it! I'm sure he wasn't thinking about how to honor those victims prior to the game saturday afternoon, like you said - concentrating on getting ready for the game. Understand that & agree with you.

The players on the other hand probably spent a good deal of time (as with most people) Friday night watching the images & listening to the reports about what exactly happened. However, if a player comes to you with this idea - this is how the conversation should go....

Player: Coach can we carry out an American & French flag pregame?

Coach: Awesome idea....of course!

Its an impressive gesture coming from 18-22 years old and don't really see the need to have to be talked into something that will take all of 1-3 minutes to accomplish.
