He's a great college coach but not right for the NFL. In college he can recruit whoever he wants and has more control over the players. In the NFL the talent is harder to accumulate on one team and the players are harder control. His personality doesnt work well in that environment, see Miami.

While I don't really disagree or even care, there have neen several coaches who failed at their first stops

2 were playing in the super bowl last year

Nobody is touching this place until they know there's no threat of Hurricane Rita. Once that's settled, then maybe folks would take a look.

But Saban? Players would revolt. Brees would demand a trade immediately and morale would plummet. He's a great college guy but pro players can't stand him.

Say what you want about Rita, but sports in new orleans was better when she had a hand in it.

Not a fan and not defending because I think she is about as egotistical as Saban, but it is what it is

It's a silly statement to make and you have no evidence to suggest she had any impact on any coaching decisions
