I understand your points. Very thoughtful.

Arky's coach's team dominated Miles's team two years in a row. The Hogs improved over the course of the season. LSU got worse.

LSU's talent level is vastly superior to Arky's if you go by the Recruit Class rankings.

Bielema has been on the job at Arky for a few years. Miles has been on the job at LSU for a decade.

Any rational observer of football would expect LSU to win one of these games against the Hogs. Any rational person would expect LSU to be competitive in both games.

IMHO, your objective view is clouded by sentimentality. Sentimentality should not be a part of the analysis.
