DiNardo got 5 seasons, 1995-1999. He was 4-7 then 2-9 in his last two years. NO ONE defended him nor wanted him to stay by mid-1999 season.

Les has deficiencies no doubt. But do not compare him to Gerry DiNardo who was TERRIBLE and had two losing seasons. Believe me, 8-5 is way better than 2-9.

The 2-9 season was Hallman's, not DiNardo's.

Not much difference between the two.

If you're not in First, you might as well be in Last! What's the difference? It's all in the perception.

8-5 will get you to some BS minor Bowl Game that nobody cares about except for all the Program Worshippers. That's not what we're after any longer.

Too much going for LSU to consistently NOT Max out the potential........
