For me, who has always been a supporter of les, it is something less tangible. I watch college football to have fun. Sure winning games is fun, but its not everything.
I like to see kids that care, and are having fun. College football players have a shelf life, you only get to see them for a limited number of seasons before they move on. I like to see them develope, give their all and compete because it makes me feel young again. I like to be entertained, because thats what it is ultimately: entertainment.
LSU football is none of those things for me anymore. It is boring, predictable and unimaginative. It is like watching an NFL game in december with two teams vying for the number 1 pick in the next draft. Coaches coaching not to lose or keep their jobs, players going through the motions. Listless crowds that are there because they paid the money for the tickets, and are just waiting the requisite time to feel an adequate return on their investment. Im going to find other things to do on Saturdays. Im done with les.
