like someone said in another thread that im starting to think might happpen, "Dont be surprised if a Kent State type situation happens in the near future."

1 This is a long, long way from anything remotely resembling the environment that brought on Kent State. There are a handful of students on a handful of campuses, yelling some slogans and acting the fool. Read some history about what was going on in the US in the sixties and early seventies.

2 The Kent State shootings were the result of National Guardsmen untrained in crowd control tactics, and issued live ammo. There are ways to handle crowds, even violent crowds, without laying down a base of indiscriminant fire. Unless the powers that be are stupid enough to throw those SOP's out the window, another Kent State won't happen.
