you obviously dont process information very well. the premise of the post is that a dominant Dline can cover up for average LBs.

First off, frick you for being a smartass bruh. Second, we won't even have average SEC LBs if Beckwith leaves.

You are correct in saying we dont have another Beckwith on the team. no one is arguing that.

I know.

What I'm saying is that Duke Reily, Michael Divinity, Donnie Alexander, Ronnie Feist, and any other LB prospects Steele and O bring in will be good enough for us to still have a good defense.

This would be our weakest LB group in a long time.

Games are won and lost in the trenches. (ala TTown last weekend). with the Dline being put together next year, we will win in the trenches.

No shite but also look at how much Ragland, Foster and Lee were around the ball.

again, go look at 2011. we had some pretty bad LBs that year. We were still a very dominant defense.

We had one of the best tackling MLBs that we've seen at LSU in over a decade.

Who? Minter? he was 5th on the team that year with 61 tackles. Baker was 4th with 64.

our top 3 tacklers that year were Reid, Mathieu, and Taylor. 3 DBs. LB play in 2011 was sub par.

Also the starting Dline combined for 206 tackles.
