re: I12 eastbound around Covington

I drive this route daily as my office is on Hwy 59. This morning around 6:45, the sun east bound was brutal when I topped the River Bridge. Cars were locking up their brakes everywhere not expecting to see traffic slowing down before the 190 exit.

There was a minor wreck East bound with two cars on the left shoulder at 6:45. State Trooper was on the right shoulder. Traffic was slowing down everywhere and the sun was blinding with the clear skies looking directly east right there. I suspect all of this played a huge role in the major accident.
