It's dirty, nasty work but there are plenty of jobs out there for welders. We have a hard time keeping welders around here because they all think they're worth $40/hr... even the ones straight out of school that don't know jack shite.

Yeah, I'm only 26. Even with the family and bills I have now, I wouldn't need to get near $40/hr for a good while.

This dude gets it. If you're going to do it, be the best. Good welders can make good money but great welders are invaluable. frick a cubical.
