One time we got lost out in the middle of nowhere off road and all of a sudden a fricking brand new, clean as a whistle Mercedes drives by and the guy is wearing an expensive suit and looks like he's going to a black tie event...and driving gloves 
We asked for directions (I spoke enough caveman to get by and my friend was a savant who spoke fluently) and he pointed us in the right direction and told us to get the frick out of "here"

Spent a lot of time at Sig and the surrounding areas growing up. My family is from a small mountain town straight south of Catania. I've never seen it down there, but it's definitely still around. I think it's much more prominent in Palermo than anywhere in the southern portion of the country.
