If VW just tanked the resale value of my car by cheating emissions standards they can shove 500 dollars up their arse and I'd see them in court.
This is like the Carnival cruise that went to shite in the gulf and the compensation was a discount on a future carnival cruise.

How does this hurt your resale value? If anything it should help it. You do not have to get the recall done in the cars. If you bring it to the dealership just tell them you don't want it. I've talked to some of the guys at Southpoint and that is what was explained to me.

Seriously. Any of you fricks that are worried about selling your car, I'll buy it! It's still a better car than 90% of the shite out there.
