Hill, Landry and OBJ weren't just good college players, either - all 3 were among the standouts of that rookie NFL class - Hill not starting until week 9 and still finished with over 1,000 yards. Exactly, even with those standouts at skill positions, we still don't do much more than we did this year vs Bama. Copeland fumble on 1 and fake punt were huge swing plays I agree. But those things happen in games.

I think we are built very similar to Bama with just a hair less creativity and depth since 2011. I don't think the D can take much blame since the O did them no favors whatsoever. Only getting a FG on that Bama turnover and. Harris awful pic to start 3rd was hard for D to overcome
