Rebuilt engine and installed new catalytic converters in a car and now the exhaust makes some vibrating noise while decelerating under 25 mph. I think the old exhaust system just isn't "tuned" to the new engine anymore.

Engine runs great. The exhaust is installed properly - everything is tight.

I would like someone who has experience with something like this - not someone who's only option is to change everything out.

Does the vehicle engine brake, aka downshift under deacceleration, or perhaps the engine is holding gear. What are he RPMS like when the vibration sound occurs. It kinda just sounds like drone man. Also would be good to know what kind of vehicle and engine.

Bring it to autotech in gonzales. Tell them its vibrating.

40$ later it will be fixed.

You sure it's the exhaust? I'm no expert but could the harmonics be coming from the engine itself?

You OE cats back on it or aftermarket? If aftermarket are they high flow? If they are high flow try a less restrictive muffler, could be caused by back pressure causing the cats to hit their resonance frequency.
