Is it unrealistic to think that we would dominate time of possession by something like 40 minutes to 20 minutes, possibly more?

I don't think there's any question about it.

We would kill Baylor with the defense they have.

All it would take is a couple of stops of their offense.

My only fear would be that LF7 would score too fast.

Needs to play keep away from them.

I would let Williams pound away 4 yards a pop.

LF-476 yds
Guice-200 yds
D WILL-110 yds
Brossette-80 yds + kick off return

Playoffs??!! Their Defense is High School-ish

lol, y'all act as if our team never has to punt to McNeese, Eastern Michigan, South Carolina, or WKU. We had to punt 4 times in the first half against Western Kentucky.

Baylor would get some stops. Their defense is better than all of those teams. And their offense is a bitch to stop. We would not be favored in that game although we would have a great chance to win it.

Baylor would be in full-time passing mode because they like to run the ball to set up the rest of their attack and LSU's defense would shut down their rushing pretty easily, I think.

So, as the OP correctly stated, one major prong for LSU would be to keep Baylor's offense off the field but they would have to also ensure good pass defense. LSU could go with multiple and regular blitz packages and rattle the freshman QB until he couldn't see straight.

Short version: LSU would beat Baylor - easy.

Baylor is pretty much designed to get dominated in time of possession tbh
