Newton is certainly elite which is the main discussion in this thread
But he has not had to do a lot today. He has just managed what he needed to.

Call me crazy but I reserve the elite label for people that show greatness over more than a season. I'd have no problem with someone saying he's elite if he keeps up the play he had this year, next season and seasons after that.
Rodgers, Brady, Brees and Peyton have been the big 4 for years. I'd say Peyton is dropped off, but the other 3 have been great for such a long time.
So let's see what happens with Cam going forward first.
