Hell they're one of the best pass rushing defenses in the country as well

They're 38th. Florida is better and Harris had over 200 yards passing on them, and 186 of that in the first half.

They literally stopped throwing in the 2nd half.

Bama fans glad they have a "hateful bunch" on defense.

I read pass rushing defense as pass defense since the NCAA doesn't actually have a pass rushing defense stat. Obviously you meant sacks, guess I should have caught that. Not sure where you are getting your numbers from but I think they are actually tied for 6th in sacks LINK, but they are 38th in passing yards allowed LINK.

And as I stated, they are 3rd, not 2nd in rushing yards per game LINK

We won't just maul their front 7 early on. It's going to take time to wear them down. BH is going to have to hit some passes to enable us to have some long drives early...not necessarily scoring drives but we can't just

I actually agree with you on something. It will take a little time to do this...and if all goes as planned...sure really start hitting them hard in the second half. People keep saying if we run, run, run....I saw somewhere we had done that exactly 6 times all year. On top of that, Miles usually has an aggressive game-plan against Bama. Truth is, Miles probably outcoaches Saban more time than not....regardless of whether we win or lose. Just to keep us in the game last year with a great chance to win, with that offense...was phenomenal. We have had some heart ache and bad breaks over the last few years...here is hoping some of that good fortune swings around to us tomorrow...I will take a 1 point win...but truth is I'd love to hand them their arse....we are due and theyare due for an arse beating.

they have a different offense than us. Their QB is much more comfortable running the zone read also.

They have to account for BH. That is a big deal when it comes to a bama defense. This is what always gives them problems. You keep saying that Tenn is different...but they have a Mobile QB and a good RB. LSU has a mobile QB, that can also beat you deep, and they have a GREAT RB with a GREAT OL. LSU has a better offense than Tenn....they just do....and a better defense. Barring critical turnovers by LSU....this one should go LSU's way.

You gonna take into consideration how often the opponent passes on them? Alabama is tied or leading UF in every pass defense stat.

Depends where you look. Teamrankings has them 2nd.

Either way, they're good. And my original comment stands, bruh.

I don't wanna get in trouble for posting over here, I was under the impression that we weren't supposed to but since other Bama fans are I'll merely add to the discussion, I'm not looking to argue or flame.

Bama is tied for 5th nationally in Yards Per Pass Attempt Defense: LINK

Bama is 7th nationally in Pass Efficiency Defense: LINK

Bama has the 4th highest INT total in the country: LINK

Bama is 13th in the country in completion percentage defense: LINK

Bama has the 5th highest sack total in the country: LINK

Bama is behind only two teams when it comes to allowing plays of 30 or more yards, making them 3rd best nationally: LINK

I come in peace to provide stats to consider, I don't want to argue or flame, that's all I wanted to post. I'll be going now, thanks for your time, here is to a good injury free game on Saturday.

Debate and banter is allowed, trolling is not. There are some fans that post here that are interested in discussing the game with us, they're just outnumbered. Its a throwback to days gone by

Are we not supposed to be over here? I've enjoyed it for the past 2 weeks. They have way better discussion than the SECr and have been nice as can be to me. This thread, not so much

Also, the closer we get to game day, detailed analysis and polite discussion will begin to be even more rare.

Hey, you called me frickin stupid.

It's all good though, nothing we say or do will affect the game. I expect it to be another slugfest. Kind of wish we could have a bye the week before, for preperation, and the week after, for healing purposes.

Of course I hope we stomp y'all in the ground and win by 50. But I don't expect anything like that. This will likely be the best team either school faces this year.
