Was the 6 year-old in a child safety seat? If not, I think it gives you some idea of the father's concern for the child's welfare, and the officers' ability to reasonably discern that there was a child in the vehicle. But why bother waiting for more facts to be disclosed before reaching judgment? We may as well arrest the officers for premeditated murder since you have already determined they just willfully shot at and killed someone for a minor traffic accident.
