I mean, if you want to downplay it to a "bump," in this instance, yes. But your question is incredibly disingenuous and really speaks to your clear thought process that the police can do nothing correctly. You'd rather give a criminal the benefit of the doubt to try to make this story about cops killing a kid instead of the POS running from the cops putting his own child's life in danger.
