Notre Dame, TCU, Utah, and Baylor all deserve to be ranked higher than Alabama.

I'm not going to bitch about it right now because I believe they gave themselves an out with Bama and LSU on the docket this weekend, but it is hard to take these rankings seriously with Bama 6 spots ahead of Florida.

There is hardly any criteria where Bama is superior to UF at this point in the season. Basically, if you can use every argument they would use to put Bama over ND, Baylor, TCU, etc., to put UF over Bama.

Not that I expected any other result, but the CFP Playoff committee continues to be about the "eye test" and big name programs more than anything else.

Excellent job by the committee, those are definitely the 4 best teams right now.

Memphis can realistically make the playoff if they win out.

Doesn't really matter and will likely work itself out. But I've got some level of beef with Bama being in.

I think they're being forgiven because "Alabama". Based on what they've done in the past. "Well they turned the ball over 5 times. Thats uncharacteristic." Why do they get a free pass for playing a sloppy game at home? In my eyes, playing poorly at home and losing is something that should be acknowledged.

How many teams can allow 24 points on 5 turnovers and lose at home and be sitting pretty in the playoff rankings?

Going to be even worse when they keep Bama in the top 8 after a close loss next week

Alabama being 4th is retarded. No way around it.

lol at all the analysts being excited because they all think Alabama is the best.

Bama's wins - Wisconsin, Mid Ten St, UL Monroe, Georgia, Arkansas, #19 A&M, Tennesee
Bama's loss - Home to #18 Ole Miss

Florida's wins - New Mex St, ECU, Kentucky, Tennessee, #18 Ole Miss, Mizzou, Georgia
Florida's loss - Road at #2 LSU

So what about Bama's resume is more appealing than Florida?
