Thanks for the update LSUengr that is what I suspected even though I'm hearing decent reports from down there.

What was your opinion on the grass? Does it look like its dying or look like some will make it?

That's my concern Hammer, doesn't take much to kill that grass as high as the salinities got last week, add the river being low and it can wipe out the feed overnight. I'm sure Atch delta got hit hard too.

I am not a big plant guy so forgive my ignorance. The bigger plants we have seen more recently, which I think are some type of wild rice, have started to brown and die off. Most of the widgeon grass was still green. Some other stalk like tall grass where we hunted this weekend was still green also. Looked like surge from Patricia may have not done much damage. This is all down off pass a loutre.
