As bad as Purdue is right now, we are a better program than Illinois. Two differences, we have history and we pay.

We'll outbid whoever we go up against for the guy we want.

We offered Butch Jones $3mil, but he came to campus didn't like the facilites, hated the AD and left without a handshake 3 years ago. Purdue isn't a job where we'll ever get the hot national candidates but most MAC coaches see it as a logical next step.

I like Babers because he's won at most of his stops and I like Campbell because he seems like a true program builder.
