Why no talk about Notre Dame's mascot being offensive?

Yeah its kinda a leprechaun but it also fits the harrmful stereotype of a bearded Irishman who gets drunk and wants to fight. As a guy who is 1/4 Irish, I am disgusted.

We've talked about this before. It is offensive. ND itself had issues with it. Eire still has issues with it. The alumni won't let the university kill it.
