I dont get the hot water freezing faster thing...doesnt hot water have to get cold before it freezes? Cold water is already cold!

Regardless of political affiliation, its absolutely embarrassing and equally terrifying that the leading candidates for President of the United States are Hilary Rodham Clinton and Donald Trump.

I don't get this one either. I guess it depends on what the definition of "hot water" is.

Certainly 33 deg water will freeze faster than 34 deg water given the same environment.

ditto with 33 deg water and 35 deg water.

At what point does this axiom break down, and more interestingly - at what temperature does 'cold' water take exactly the same amount of time to freeze than 'hotter' water?

I call bullshite on the whole idea - pending definition of "cold" and "hot" and the methods for taking a cup of water from a bucket of water and making it "cold" - then taking a cup of water from the same bucket and making it 'hot" - then subjecting them to the same environment to find out how long it takes each to freeze.

And by 'water' I mean pure h20 - no other impurities that may have its own freezing characteristics.
